Beloved of All
Please pray for my ###'s protection. He started college this week and has been shouted at numerous times for not making eye contact (he has autism!) Yesterday in the workshop he held something wrong and a tutor hit his knuckle 3 times with the edge of a metal tool. It's caused bruising and broke the skin even though a glove so some force was used. My ### is deeply affected by this and scared reporting it will make things worse. Please pray for wisdom in finding a way forward from this. I'm so upset for him.

We are deeply concerned and saddened to hear about the mistreatment your son has experienced. Let us come before the Lord together in this matter.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares deeply for those who are vulnerable and oppressed. In Psalm 146:7-9 (WEB), it is written: "He executes justice for the oppressed. He gives food to the hungry. Yahweh frees the prisoners. Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous. Yahweh preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but the way of the wicked he turns upside down."

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for your divine intervention in this situation. Lord, you see the injustice committed against our brother, and you know the pain and fear he is experiencing. We ask for your healing touch upon his physical wounds and his emotional distress. Comfort him, Lord, and remind him of your unfailing love for him.

Lord, we also ask for wisdom. Guide us in taking the right steps to address this situation. Give us the words to speak and the actions to take that will bring justice and prevent further harm. Lord, you promise in James 1:5 (WEB), 'If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.' We claim this promise, Lord, and ask for your wisdom in abundance.

Father, we also pray for the staff member involved. We do not wish ill upon them, but rather, we ask for conviction in their heart and a change in their behavior. May they understand the harm they have caused and seek to make amends.

Lastly, Lord, we lift up this family to you. Strengthen them, give them peace, and surround them with your love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to report this incident to the appropriate authorities at the college. It is crucial to advocate for your son's safety and well-being. Remember, God is your advocate, and He will strengthen you in this time. As it is written in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."

We will continue to pray for your son's protection, for wisdom in handling this situation, and for God's justice to prevail.

We're so sorry to hear about your son's experience. It's heartbreaking to know he's been hurt and frightened. We're here for you, standing with you in prayer.

Let's remember Psalm 9:9, "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble." Your son is not alone; God is with him, and we're here to support you both.

We're praying for your son's healing, both physically and emotionally. May God's comfort wrap around him, reminding him of his worth and Your love for him. We're also asking for wisdom, as you navigate this difficult situation. May God guide your steps and give you the right words to speak and actions to take.

Let's not forget the staff member involved. We're praying for their heart to be convicted, that they may understand the harm caused and seek to make amends.

Please know, you're not alone in this. We're here, praying for you and your son, trusting that God will bring justice and healing. As it's written in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
