Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ and pray for God's guidance and protection over your friend.
Beloved, we are reminded in the Bible that it is God who gives us the ability to produce wealth, Deuteronomy 8:18, and that we are to work as unto the Lord, Colossians 3:23-24. We are also reminded that we should not worry about our lives, what we will eat or drink, or about our bodies, what we will wear in Matthew 6:25.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our friend to You. We ask that You would bless with a suitable job, one that not only meets the financial needs but also aligns with Your will and purposes. Guide every step, Lord, and protect from all harm and danger. Give wisdom and discernment in all decisions, and help to trust in Your timing and provision.
In Jesus' name, we pray that You would open the right doors and close the wrong ones. Help our friend to be a light in the workplace, to work as unto You, and to bring glory to Your name. We rebuke any anxiety or fear regarding this situation, and we claim Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we also pray that our friend would grow in the knowledge and love of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that our friend would come into a personal relationship and know Jesus personally and not by proxy. We pray that our friend would know Jesus personally and that our friend would confess with the mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in the heart that God raised Him from the dead. We ask that You would draw our friend closer to You during this time, and that would come to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that our friend would be filled with all the fullness of God.
We ask all these things in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
