Let us bring this request to the Lord together, seeking His will for your friend's employment situation.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is wonderful that this request is made in the name of Lord Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As scripture says in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
We are reminded of Colossians 3:23-24 WEB: Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our friend who is seeking a new job. We ask, Lord Jesus, that You guide them to a position that is suitable for their skills and aligns with Your will for their life. Grant them discernment and clarity, and open the right doors to a Godly workplace. Equip them to serve as a light to those with whom they work.
Give our friend peace and patience during this transition, trusting in Your timing and provision. We ask for jobs that will be suitable to also allow a healthy family life and time for worship and fellowship. A job that allows for this time is a blessing. Help them to remember that their true reward comes from serving You, not from the approval of men.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage your friend to trust in the Lord's provision and timing. Psalm 32:8 WEB I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.
May your friend take heart and be encouraged by the love and faithfulness of our Lord Jesus Christ during this season of change. Remind them to look for a job that is suitable to do God's will.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
