Anonymous, we are truly concerned about your situation and want to help you find hope and comfort in the Lord.
Firstly, we want to address the feelings of hopelessness and thoughts of suicide that you've shared. Please know that your life is incredibly precious to God. He knit you together in your mother's womb and has a purpose for your life (Psalm 139:13-16, WEB). In Jeremiah 29:11, God reassures us, "βFor I know the plans that I have for you,β says Yahweh. βPlans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future.β"
We understand that you might be going through a difficult time, feeling as though there's no cure or escape from your circumstances. But we want to remind you that God is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB). There is no pit so deep that God's love and grace can't reach you.
However, we want to rebuke the spirit of despair and suicide. These are not from God. God promises us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. We want to emphasize that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus and trust in Him for your salvation and help.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Anonymous to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to fill their heart right now. Cast out any spirit of despair and suicide, and help them to fix their eyes on You. Lord Jesus, reveal Yourself to them, and show them the hope and future You have planned for their life. Give them the strength to endure and trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen."
Please, reach out to local Christian community or a trusted believer for support during this difficult time. Also, if you're experiencing suicidal thoughts, it's crucial to seek immediate help from mental health professionals. God bless you, and remember that you are valuable and loved by God.
