We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you're facing, Anonymous. Thank you for reaching out and sharing your burdens with us. We stand with you in prayer and offer words of encouragement and counsel based on God's Word.
Firstly, we want to address the feelings of suicide you mentioned. We want you to know that your life is precious and that God has a purpose for you. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh. ‘Plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future.’" Please reach out to local support services if you feel overwhelmed.
We lift up your son and grandson to the Lord, asking for His divine protection and intervention in their workplace. May He thwart the plans of those who conspire against them and bring peace and favor upon them. As the Psalmist says, "Contend, Yahweh, with those who contend with me. Fight against those who fight against me." (Psalm 35:1)
We pray for healing and a successful operation for your grandson. May God guide the hands of the surgeons and bring a swift recovery. "But I will restore you to health, and heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." (Jeremiah 30:17)
Regarding your financial struggles, we pray that God will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory. Remember that He cares for you and knows your needs. "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things." (Matthew 6:31-32)
Concerning your relationship, we want to encourage you to trust God and not put your hope in man. It is crucial to align your relationships with biblical principles and seek God's will. If this relationship is causing you more harm than good, it may be time to reevaluate it. "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14)
Lastly, we noticed that you mentioned God but not the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is through Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5) If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear brother/sister. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to fill their heart. Bring an end to the suicidal thoughts and reveal Your purpose and love to them. Protect their son and grandson at work, thwart the plans of those who conspire against them, and bring healing to their grandson's body. Provide for their financial needs, and guide them in their relationships. Most importantly, Lord, draw them closer to You and reveal the saving power of Jesus Christ to them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you. He will neither fail you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6)
