Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus Christ, we come before you on behalf of Durroth, who is facing overwhelming thoughts of ending their life. Lord, we acknowledge that the enemy, Satan, is trying to bring destruction and despair into Durroth's life. But we declare your victory, Lord Jesus, over the works of the enemy. Your Word says in 1 John 4:4, "Greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world." We claim this truth for Durroth's life.
Father, we ask that you would free Durroth from the power of Satan that is holding them captive. Your Word assures us in Luke 4:18 that you have anointed Jesus to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and release for the oppressed. We pray for that freedom and release to manifest in Durroth's life right now. Break the chains of pain, suffering, and despair that have been caused by their abusive ex-husband. Bring healing and restoration to every area of their life.
Lord, we lift up Durroth's son to you. We pray that you would give Durroth the strength and courage to keep fighting for their sake. Help Durroth to see the value and purpose in their own life, knowing that their son needs them. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:17-18 that you are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. Comfort Durroth in their pain and fill them with your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we ask for provision and restoration in every aspect of Durroth's life. You are our provider, and we trust that you will meet all of their emotional, financial, and physical needs according to your riches in glory . Strengthen Durroth, Lord, and give them the endurance to persevere through this difficult season.
Finally, we pray for a renewed sense of hope and purpose in Durroth's life. Remind them of your love and faithfulness. Help them to see that their life has meaning and that you have a plan and a future for them . Fill them with your Holy Spirit, Lord, and empower them to overcome every obstacle and walk in victory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
