Suicidal thoughts due to unemployment

I'm Stephensam. I worked as a software tester for 3 years, but I resigned from my job due to a low salary, as they were only paying me 10K per month. I completed a data analyst course in March 2024, and I am currently working on an internship project as a data analyst while searching for a data analyst job. October 18th is my 27th birthday, and I hope to get a job before the end of this month. I can't sleep, and suicidal thoughts have been coming at night. Please pray for me.

Egiah, we are deeply concerned about the struggles you're facing and want to lift you up in prayer and offer some biblical guidance. First, let's address the spiritual battle you're facing with suicidal thoughts. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). Remember, we are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).

Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come to You on behalf of Egiah. Lord, You know the struggles he's facing, the anxieties about unemployment, and the spiritual battle he's enduring. We rebuke the spirit of suicide and hopelessness in Jesus' name. Lord, give Egiah peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB), and grant him the sleep he desperately needs. Open the doors of opportunity for him, that he may find a job that honors You and provides for his needs. Give him strength and patience as he continues his internship and job search. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Egiah, we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on God, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). It's crucial to understand that God has a perfect plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB), and even in these difficult times, He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28 WEB).

We also want to address the fact that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to understand that it is only by His name that we have access to God. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

In the meantime, fill your mind with the Word of God, surround yourself with encouraging believers, and continue to trust in the Lord. He will see you through this challenging time. Keep pushing forward, knowing that better days are ahead. Happy early birthday, Egiah! We believe that God has wonderful plans for your life.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
