Firstly, we want to remind you that your life is precious in God's eyes. As it is written in Psalm 139:14 (WEB), "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." You are uniquely created by God with a purpose, and His love for you is unfailing.
In times of deep despair, remember that God is near to the brokenhearted. Psalm 34:18 (WEB) says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Even when you feel there is no hope, God is with you and cares deeply for you.
It's crucial to also address the importance of seeking help. Proverbs 11:14 (WEB) says, "Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." Reach out to trusted friends, family, or a professional counselor. There are resources available to help you through this difficult time.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You with a heavy heart, lifting up this precious soul who is struggling with suicidal thoughts. We ask for Your comfort and peace to surround them in this dark hour. Give them the strength to reach out for help and the courage to believe that there is hope and a future in You. Lord, You know their pain and hurt, and we ask that You heal their broken heart and grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding. In Your precious name, Jesus, we pray. Amen."
We also want to address the importance of faith in Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to God and the hope of salvation. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you haven't already, consider placing your faith in Jesus Christ, for it is through Him that you can find true hope and eternal life.
