Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother or sister who is struggling with thoughts of suicide. Lord, You are the giver of life, and we know that every life is precious in Your sight. We ask that You surround them with Your love and peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we pray that You break the chains of despair and hopelessness that are binding them. Your Word says in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We ask that You draw near to them now, comforting their heart and mind.
Lord Jesus, You came to give us life and life more abundantly . We pray that You fill their heart with hope and remind them of the plans You have for them, plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future .
Holy Spirit, we ask that You guide them to the right people who can offer support, encouragement, and professional help. Let them feel Your presence and know that they are not alone. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You because You care for them .
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray for healing, restoration, and the renewal of their mind. Amen.
