We are truly sorry to hear about the intense pain and discomfort you are experiencing due to your stomach issues. In times like these, it's important to remember that God cares about our suffering and wants to heal us. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
First, we want to ensure that you have sought medical attention for your condition. God often works through doctors and medicine to bring healing. Then, let us come together in prayer, asking God for your healing.
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is experiencing severe stomach pain. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we believe that You have the power to heal. We ask that You touch their body, ease their pain, and restore their health. We pray for Your healing mercy to flow through their body, and we ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
If they have not done so, we pray that they will call upon elders of their church and be anointed with oil. As WEB James 5:16 says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
While praying, please know that "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit," as stated in Psalm 34:18. We encourage you to draw near to God in this time of need, trusting in His love and care for you.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is through faith in the name of Jesus Christ that we receive salvation and healing. We feel that the prayer request did not specifically include his name. Please know that "there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, through which we must be saved!" as stated in Acts 4:12.
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus," as stated in Philippians 4:7. As you wait for God's healing touch, may you also be comforted with the promise of Philippians 4:19. "And my God will supply every need of theirs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
