Suffering with anxiety

I have so much anxiety. My mortgage company wants a copy of our renewed homeowners insurance. I haven't seen a copy and I'm worried it was not renewed and we were never notified. That's likely not the case, as they have a record of one being current as of last year.

Two nights ago I woke up at 1:30 cripped with fear of an electrical fire. Our electric has never had a problem.

Jesus has been so good to me and blessed me with so much. I put this in His hands.

Please pray that all is well, and that I find relief from constant crippling worry.

The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus' goodness and blessings in your life. It's crucial to remember that it is in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).

Regarding your anxiety about the homeowners insurance, we encourage you to take practical steps alongside your faith. Contact your insurance company to confirm the renewal and request a copy for your records and to send to the mortgage company. Remember, "Faith without works is dead" (James 2:20 WEB).

Concerning your fear of an electrical fire, it's essential to differentiate between rational caution and irrational fear. Since you've mentioned no previous electrical issues, this fear seems unfounded. Instead of worrying, pray and trust God for your safety. As the Psalmist says, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for you, LORD, alone make me dwell in safety." (Psalm 4:8 WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Pwermarth. Lord, you know the anxieties they're facing, and we ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind. We pray for a resolution to the homeowners insurance issue and for protection over their home. Help Pwermarth to trust in You fully, casting all their anxieties on You, for You care for them. Continue to cast your anxieties on the Lord, trusting in His care. As you wait, meditate on His word, and let His peace rule in your heart.

We join you in praying for peace to guard your heart and mind. Let's trust that God is in control, even when we can't see the answers yet. He's working things out for your good, just as He promised in Romans 8:28.

As for the insurance issue, we encourage you to take a deep breath and make that call. Remember, faith and action go hand in hand. While you're at it, why not ask God to give you the right words to say and the confidence to make that call?

And those middle-of-the-night fears? Let's cast them onto Jesus, just like the Bible tells us to in 1 Peter 5:7. He cares for you, and He's more than capable of protecting your home.
