We understand that you're feeling held back, seeing delays in your life and even having disturbing dreams. We want you to know that we're here to pray with you and to help guide you according to biblical principles.
Firstly, it's important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world's darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms Ephesians 6:12 WEB. So, we need to put on the full armor of God, to stand against the schemes of the devil.
However, we must be cautious in how we approach this. The Bible tells us to be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8 WEB. But it also tells us to resist him, firm in the faith 1 Peter 5:9 WEB.
We must be careful not to attribute too much to spiritual warfare, as this can lead us away from taking personal responsibility for our actions and decisions. It's important to examine your life and ensure that you're walking in obedience to God's word. Are there any areas of sin that you need to repent of? Remember, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9 WEB.
Regarding your dreams, the Bible tells us that not all dreams are from God. They can also be the result of our own thoughts and desires, or even from the enemy. James 1:14 WEB tells us that each person is tempted when he is drawn away and enticed by his own desire. We need to test the spirits to see whether they are from God 1 John 4:1 WEB. If your dreams are causing you anxiety and do not align with the word of God, then you should rebuke them in the name of Jesus.
We must be careful not to focus too much on the spiritual realm, but rather keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith Hebrews 12:2 WEB. He is the one who has overcome the world John 16:33 WEB, and it's in His name that we have authority Luke 10:19 WEB. We need to be aware of the enemy's schemes, but not so focused on them that we lose sight of Jesus.
Now, let's pray together:
Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank you for your love, mercy, and grace. We thank you that you have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7WEB. We right now come against any spirit of delay, any spirit of stagnation, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against us will prosper Isaiah 54:17 WEB, and we ask you, Father, to bless your child and open up the doors that need to be opened. Give them the strength and wisdom to walk in obedience to your word, and to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to be patient and to keep trusting in God. Wait on Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh. Psalm 27:14 WEB. He has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He will bring it to pass in His perfect timing.
Stand firm in the faith. God has victory over all things. Be alert to the devil's schemes.
