We are truly saddened to hear about Dolly Francis Fernandes' battle with breast cancer. We stand with her in this time of need and we are reminded of the words in the Book of Psalms, For you are my hope, Lord; my confidence, God, from my youth. By you I have been sustained from the womb. By you, I was lifted up out of my mother's womb. I will always praise you. Psalm 71:5-6 WEB.
Firstly, we want to remind everyone that God is the ultimate healer. It is through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach God and ask for His healing power. As it is written, Let's therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16 WEB. We lift up Dolly and others with cancer in prayer, asking for God's divine intervention and healing touch. We also pray for the medical professionals involved, and for wisdom and guidance as treatments are chosen. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him; having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. Ephesians 1:17-18 WEB.
We also pray for comfort and strength for Dolly and her family during this difficult time. We know that God is faithful and that He will be with them every step of the way. We do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory; while we don't look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 WEB.
Lastly, we encourage Dolly and her family to stay strong in their faith and to trust in God's plan for their lives. We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing power to touch Dolly. Comfort her and her family during this time, and guide the medical professionals as they provide treatment. Give Dolly and her family strength and courage, and help them to trust in Your plan for their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
