Thank you for reaching out and sharing your sister's situation with us. We are here to support you in prayer and to offer biblical guidance.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares deeply for your sister and desires for her to be whole and at peace. The Bible tells us, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22 WEB). This means that God is willing and able to carry our burdens, including anxiety and depression.
However, it is important to address the mention of "negative energy." As believers, we do not put our focus on vague concepts like "negative energy," but rather on the power and authority of Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). Our battle is spiritual, and our weapon is prayer in the name of Jesus.
Let us pray together for your sister:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister in ### to You. You know her by name, and You understand her struggles with anxiety and depression. We ask that You would touch her mind and emotions, bringing Your peace and healing.
In the name of Jesus, we rebuke any spiritual forces that may be contributing to her condition. We proclaim that "No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that will rise against you in judgment you will condemn" (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
Father, draw her close to You. Help her to fix her mind on You and to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. Remind her that You are always with her, even in the darkest times.
We also pray for her salvation, if she has not already accepted Jesus as her Savior. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way and that she would come to know the true peace that can only be found in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful and He hears our prayers. Encourage your sister to trust in Him and to seek Him with all her heart. It is our prayer that she will not only find relief from anxiety and depression but that she will also come to know the love and peace of Jesus Christ.
