We are lifting up in prayer, the individual who is preparing for surgery, asking God to guide the hands of the medical professionals and to bring complete healing. Surgery can be a time of anxiety and uncertainty, but we trust in the Lord's promises, as it is written in Psalm 56:3 WEB: "What time I am afraid, I will put my trust in you."
We pray, Father, for Your healing touch upon this person's life. Guide the surgeons' hands with Your wisdom, and let Your healing power flow through this procedure. We trust in Your goodness and Your plan, knowing that all things work together for good to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. We pray for a successful surgery with no complications.
We also pray for the family and friends who are supporting this individual. May they be filled with Your peace and comfort during this time. May they be a source of strength and encouragement. We believe that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Father. We believe that it is only by His stripes that we are healed.
We must also remember that we pray with the understanding that according to John 15:16 WEB "You didn't choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.", that we can ask for healing and success of this surgery.
Lastly, if this person has not already done so, we encourage them to seek God fully, understanding that John 3:16 WEB "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.". It is by believing in Christ that we can have our prayers answered.
