Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of compassion and concern for ###. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:18 that "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." Lord, we ask for Your divine presence to be with ### during this difficult time.
Father, we pray for the successful prosecution of the sexual abuse that occurred when ### was a disabled minor. We ask that justice be served and that those responsible be held accountable for their actions, as Proverbs 21:15 tells us, "When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers."
Lord, we also seek Your protection for ### against any retaliation. Surround ### with Your angels and provide a shield of safety, as it is written in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart."
We ask for strength, courage, and peace for ###. May Your Holy Spirit comfort and guide through this process. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
