Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of compassion and concern for Helren. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:18 that "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." Lord, we ask for Your divine presence to be with Helren during this difficult time.
Father, we pray for the successful prosecution of the sexual abuse that occurred when Helren was a disabled minor. We ask that justice be served and that those responsible be held accountable for their actions, as Proverbs 21:15 tells us, "When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers."
Lord, we also seek Your protection for Helren against any retaliation. Surround Helren with Your angels and provide a shield of safety, as it is written in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart."
We ask for strength, courage, and peace for Helren. May Your Holy Spirit comfort and guide through this process. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
