Dear Anonymous, we join you in prayer, lifting your request to the Lord in Jesus' name. We are grateful that you have included Jesus' name in your prayer, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB).
Firstly, we want to encourage you with God's promise in Psalm 113:9 (WEB), "He grants the barren woman a settled home, as a joyful mother of children. Praise the LORD!" We serve a God who is compassionate and merciful, and we trust that He has seen your tears and heard your prayers throughout these 10 years of marriage.
We pray for you, asking God to bless this IVF procedure and grant you the desire of your heart. We pray specifically for twin boys, as you have requested, but ultimately, we submit to God's will, knowing that He has a plan and purpose for your life (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
However, we also want to gently remind you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in God, even if His answer is not what you expected. Remember the story of Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:2-20, WEB. She prayed earnestly for a child, and God answered her in His own timing.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to seek God together with your spouse, strengthening your marriage and growing in faith as a couple. A strong marriage is a blessing from God, and children are an addition to that blessing (Proverbs 18:22, WEB).
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who desires to conceive through IVF. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and grace upon her. We pray for a successful procedure and for the gift of twins, as she has requested. But ultimately, Lord, let Your will be done in her life. Comfort her with Your love, strengthen her faith, and bless her marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
