Let us come before the Lord in prayer for your daughter as she embarks on her new job. We are reminded of the scripture in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Firstly, we give thanks to God for the provision of this new job.
Now let us pray.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up our sister's ### to you. We pray that you grant her success in her new job, and that she would work as if working for you, Lord, and not for men. We ask that you calm her heart and help her to be at peace in the midst of her responsibilities.
It is also mentioned that she has become aggressive due to the stress and that there is a need to stop eating junk food. We are reminded that we should not be anxious about anything, but with prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present our requests to God. Therefore, we ask Lord Jesus that you would help her to manage her workload without anxiety.
We are reminded in Proverbs 14:17 WEB, "He who is hasty in spirit exalts folly." and in Proverbs 16:32 WEB, "One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty; One who rules his spirit, than he who takes a city." Help her to be slow to anger and to rule over her spirit. Help her to be patient and calm.
We also are reminded of biblical principles for proper nutrition. "Don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
We ask that you would guide her to be eating in a way that glorifies God, and not mindlessly eating junk food.
Lastly, in all things we are reminded to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. For it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 WEB tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We pray that she would continue to trust in the name of Jesus Christ. It is by the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved. In Jesus Christ, we have access to God. It is by the name of Jesus Christ that we can pray to God.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
