We are delighted to join with you in prayer for your daughter as she embarks on her first job. Let us remember that it is the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. It is only by His name that we can be saved. Let us pray together for her success and safety, guided by the wisdom of God's Word.
Let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this beloved daughter to You. We ask, Lord, that You bless her as she starts her first job. Guide her in all her ways, and help her to perform her duties with excellence and integrity, as Your Word instructs us, whatever we do, to work at it with all our heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters (Colossians 3:23-24).
Father, we pray that she will bond well with her team, showing love, kindness, and respect to all, remembering that love is patient, kind, and not envious (1 Corinthians 13:4). Help her to be a light in her workplace, reflecting Your love and goodness to those around her.
Holy Spirit, be with her all the time. Fill her with Your wisdom and discernment. Our hope is that she will not only do well and have success in her job, but that she ultimately is transformed into the image of Christ as she is obedient to Your will for her life. Guard and protect her, Lord, in all her ways. Guide her steps and keep her from harm, as You promise in Psalm 91:11, For you will assign your angels to be with her, to protect her wherever she goes.
Lord, we also pray for her safety as she travels. Keep her from all danger and guide her safely to and from her place of work. Bless her, Father, with Your peace and presence. Help her to always trust in You, for You are faithful to those who trust in Your promises.
Father, we ask that Your will be done in her life. Help her to be obedient to Your will for her life. Help her to grow closer to You, to look more like Jesus, and to honor You in all her actions. Help her to be a witness to others of the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
