We are thrilled to join you in praying for your loved one as she embarks on her new job. Let's come together in Jesus' name and lift her up before the Lord.
Firstly, we acknowledge and give thanks for your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father and receive His blessings.
In this new phase of her life, we pray that God will fill her with His Holy Spirit, granting her wisdom, strength, and endurance to face the challenges ahead. "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth." (Acts 1:8 WEB).
We also pray for God's guidance in her career. We understand that the work environment might be challenging due to long hours and a difficult team, but He can make the impossible happen. "The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD as the rivers of water: he turns it wherever he wants." (Proverbs 21:1 WEB)
As she navigates through this journey, we pray that she will "Be strong and courageous; don't be afraid nor be dismayed before them: for the LORD your God, he it is who does go with you; he will not fail you nor forsake you." (Deuteronomy 31:6)
Lastly, let us remember that God wants us to succeed, but He is more interested in our character than our achievements. "For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he puts down one, and lifts up another." (Psalm 75:6-7 WEB)
Let's pray:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up our beloved sister as she starts her new job. We ask that You fill her with Your Holy Spirit, granting her wisdom, strength, and endurance. Guide her every step and help her work efficiently and well.
We also pray for her team. Lord, help them work together in unity and mutual respect, reflecting Your love and kindness.
Lord, we know that You have a purpose and a plan for her life. Help her to trust in You, even when the path is difficult.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May God richly bless her and guide her in this new journey.
