Prayer for success in football

We understand your desire for success in football, and we want to lift this up in prayer with you. However, we want to ensure that our priorities align with God's will and that we seek Him first in all things. As the Bible tells us in Matthew 6:33 WEB, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We pray that your talents and abilities in football will be used to honor and glorify God. In Colossians 3:17 WEB, it is written, "Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him." We pray that you will be a light for Christ both on and off the field, reflecting His love and character to your teammates and those around you.
However, we also want to address that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus and seek a personal relationship with Him.

" Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for this football journey. We pray for success, not for personal gain, but to bring glory and honor to Your name. Help us to be a light for You, to reflect Your love and character to others, and to always put You first in our lives.
