We join with you in lifting up your daughter during this crucial time in her academic journey. It's wonderful that you've come to us with your request, and we agree that all good things come from above. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ and aligned with His Word that we can expect to see success.
Firstly, it's important to remind ourselves to trust in God's plan for your daughter's life. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We should be in prayer that your daughter is aligned with God's will for her life.
Regarding your daughter's exam we echo in Ephesians 4:28 WEB: "Let him who stole steal no more, but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need." "whatever good thing each one does, he will receive the same again from the Lord" Let us pray that she has shown upmost integrity in her work, then we have no doubt she will succeed in her exams. We pray for provisions of quick understanding, remembering what she studied, recalling obscure details, and the ability to apply what she has learned to new situations as per James 1:5 WEB: "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
Regarding the examiners, we pray according to the principles outlined in Romans 13:1-2 WEB: "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment.". We need to remember the examiners are here as an authority representing God, and we pray they may be alert, kind, and merciful in your daughters needs.
We should avoid thinking God will answer our prayer just because we say 'In Jesus Name'. The phrase is not a guaranteed contract for any request, that is a pagan concept called sympathetic magic. It does bring Jesus in agreement with our prayer if our prayer is aligned with His Will not our will. Let us pray for your daughter and commit her into Gods hands believing for the best outcome from every experience in her exams.
Dear Lord, we lift up the daughter of our fellow believer, asking that You guide her through her exams intelligently and honestly. Help her to remember all the studying and preparation. Prepare her heart to receive everything she needs, and may she take the exams with full confidence in You and use what she is learning for your glory. We pray for the examiners, that they may be fair, alert, kind, and merciful. We ask that Your will be done in her life and that she can find peace and trust in Your plan for her journey. May she be restored if she has borrowed any unauthorized sources. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
