The Bible encourages us to work diligently and trust in God's provision, as it says in 2 Thessalonians 3:10, "If anyone is not willing to work, he is not to eat." It also warns against the love of money, stating in Hebrews 13:5, "Be content with what you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
We must also address that gambling, which includes the lottery, is not aligned with biblical principles. It often exploits the poor and can lead to addiction and financial ruin. The Bible encourages us to be good stewards of our resources, as seen in Proverbs 21:20, "There is precious treasure and oil in the home of the wise, but a foolish man swallows it up."
Instead of seeking success in the lottery, we encourage you to seek God's will for your life and trust in His provision. God promises to provide for our needs, as mentioned in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray for you:
