We are delighted to join with you in prayer for your daughter as she embarks on her new job. Let us remember God's promises and that He has a plan for her in His Kingdom. We need to remember that Jesus calls us to be a light for Him and that we should do our work with the same attitude as if we were working for Him. "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might" (Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB).
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her daughter. We thank You for this new opportunity that You have provided. Lord, we ask that You bless and enlighten her daughter in this new role and that you would remind her to, "Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 5:16 WEB). Grant her the wisdom and discernment needed to perform her duties efficiently and to the best of her abilities. (James 1:5 WEB)
We also pray for her health, that You would strengthen her and keep her from sickness and injury as she adapts to this new environment and that she would be able to complete any tasks with humility and honesty. (1 Peter 5:5-6 WEB)
Help her to be a positive influence on those around her, and to have a strong Christian witness and influence. If there are situations or people she may encounter that are not consistent with your word, please give her wisdom and discernment and help her to be a righteous example. (Matthew 5:13-16 WEB)
Finally, we pray that her work would bring her satisfaction and provide a heart for serving other people so that she may be a credit to you, God. If it be according to your will, let this job bring success and provision to your servant. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage both you and your daughter to continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful to provide and guide us in all areas of our lives. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you" (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB).
