Gegromos, we rejoice with you as you acknowledge your need for God and open your heart to Him. This is the first and most important step in your journey of faith. Let us remind you of the beautiful truth found in Romans 10:9-10 and 13:
"because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."... "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
By admitting you are a sinner and inviting God into your heart, you have taken the crucial step toward salvation. God loves you so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for your sins. This is the ultimate blessing, the gift of eternal life. As it says in John 3:16-17 WEB:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him."
As you submit to God's will, remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB
"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don't lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight."
Regarding relationships, we encourage you to seek God's will and trust that He will guide you to the right person at the right time. Remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. As you pursue relationships, make sure they align with biblical principles, and look towards marriage with another Christian Believer. If there have been relationships outside of marriage, you should cease and turn away from them. If there has been any sin in your relationships, make sure to confess (agree with God it is sin) with sincerity to avoid the judgement of God.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank You for drawing Gegromos to Yourself. We praise You for the work You have begun in their life, and we ask that You continue to guide and strengthen them in their walk with You. Help them to grow in their faith, to understand Your Word, and to apply it to their life. Bless them with godly relationships that honor You, and guide them to the spouse You have prepared for them, if that is Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
