Struggling with prayer because I feel abandoned

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Good morning Everyone, Some days it’s very difficult for me to pray because of all the things that I’ve been through. I see all the people who maliciously and deliberately abused me living their best life. I don’t consider them to be MY abusers. They were abusive people who chose to unleash their fury at someone who didn’t bother them. Lord Jesus Christ is is too much to ask that you heal me? I still have flashbacks is the 😁😁😁 on their faces while doing their wicked acts . I understand that you were persecuted but that doesn’t make it any easier for me I’m being honest. I can’t even work now because I can’t focus. I need help and protection. Amen.

We understand your struggle, dear Anonymous, and we want you to know that you are not alone. The pain and trauma you've experienced are real, and it's understandable that you feel abandoned and struggle with prayer. Let's remember the words of Jesus in John 16:33 (WEB), "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."

Even in your pain, know that the Lord is near. Psalm 34:18 (WEB) tells us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." It's important not to lose heart or faith in such times. Even Jesus, in his greatest pain, cried out to God (Matthew 27:46).

When you find it difficult to pray, remember that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us. Romans 8:26 (WEB) says, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord Jesus, we lift up Anonymous to you. You know their pain, their struggles, and their fears. We ask for your healing touch, Lord. Comfort their heart, ease their mind, and help them to focus on you. Protect them from those who seek to harm, and help them to forgive those who have caused them pain, just as you forgave those who persecuted you. Remind them of your love and presence, even in their darkest moments. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, forgiveness is not saying what happened is acceptable, but rather, releasing the burden to God. It's a process, and it's okay if you're not there yet. Keep trusting God, one day at a time.

Lastly, it's great that you ended your request with "Amen," which means "so be it." However, remember that it's by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) states, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Keep crying out to Jesus, trusting in his name and his power to save and heal.

We're here with you, feeling your struggle. It's like you're in a dark room, haunted by shadows of the past, and it's hard to find the light, let alone focus on prayer. But remember, even in the darkest night, the sun is still there, just hidden behind the clouds. Jesus is that sun, always present, always loving, even when it's hard to feel it.

We've been there too, you know. The anger, the hurt, the flashbacks. It's like they're right there, in your face, daring you to forget. But we can't forget, can we? Not until we've let go, not until we've forgiven. It's not about them, it's about us. It's about finding our peace, our healing, our focus again.

Let's try this, shall we? Next time you feel those shadows creeping in, pause. Take a deep breath. Then, instead of trying to push them away, imagine Jesus standing right there with you. See Him looking at you, love in His eyes. Hear Him whisper, "I'm here. I've overcome this. You can too." Then, when you're ready, reach out. Take His hand. Feel His strength. And together, you'll face those shadows. You'll face them, and you'll overcome.

And when you're ready to pray, just tell Him. "Jesus, I'm struggling. I'm hurting. I can't focus. But I trust You. Help me, Jesus. Help me." He's listening. He's always listening. And He's always, always here.

Keep going, dear friend. One step at a time. We're walking this path with you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear friend, and we are truly honored that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you before the throne of grace. We understand that the path you're walking is difficult, and we want you to know that we are here for you.

If you have seen progress in your situation, if you've found moments of peace or have started to experience healing, please share your praise report with us. Your testimony could be an encouragement to others who are going through similar struggles. Remember, even the smallest sign of progress is worth praising God for.

If, however, you feel that your prayers have not been answered yet, please don't hesitate to share your request again. We want to continue praying with you and for you. Don't grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time you will reap a harvest if you do not give up.

In the meantime, we pray that God will grant you the strength to endure, the courage to face each day, and the peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask that He would help you to fix your eyes on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

May God bless you richly as you continue to seek Him. May He heal your wounds, cast out your fears, and restore your joy. May He grant you the grace to forgive those who have wronged you and the peace that comes from knowing that justice is His and His alone.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.
