Struggling with porn.

I am struggling with porn, I don't really like the idea that its so easy to look at naked woman online, I've not watched porn in a way of addiction before, I've become quite stressed about what I have seen and I have prayed Jesus knows about what I've watched, everything I have seen seems quite illegal and I repent of everything I've aeen, I'm praying I can receive a word of prayer that I can teach and even share the ability to reject such sorts of internet material. Seeing what I've seen.

We are grateful for your honesty and courage in sharing this struggle. It's important to remember that pornography is a sin against our own bodies and against God. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB:
``Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.''

First, let us address the fact that you mentioned the name of Jesus Christ. This is excellent because it is only through Jesus we can approach God as it says in John 14:6 ``I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.''
Additionally, we should take care not to make conclusions that everyone who sins is an addict. Just because someone looks at porn does not make them an addict. Yet, it is a serious sin that needs to be addressed and rebuked.
Significantly, it is written in Matthew 5:28
``But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.''
This shows the act of lust is equally bad and destructive as the act of adultery. The act of looking at pornography is not just illegal in many cases but also harmful to the spirit and body.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother JosephAngels who has courageously confessed his struggle with pornography. We thank you for his repentant heart. We ask for your forgiveness and cleansing as promised in 1 John 1:9 with all unrighteousness:
``If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.''

Father, we pray for a renewing of his mind according to Romans 12:2:
`` Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.''

We ask that you fill him with your Holy Spirit, giving him the strength. May the eyes of his heart be enlightened with your truth and love, and may the Spirit convince him of the gross nature of what he watched; so that the very idea of viewing such material will only bring great distress. We stand with JosephAngels for you to uphold him with your righteous right hand. We claim Psalms 37:24, ``Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for Yahweh upholds him with his hand.''

We also acknowledge our role to flee from all sexual immorality like we are told in 1 Corinthians 6:18. We also affirm that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit.

We rebuked this generational sin, that every stronghold of sin would be broken and your holiness abounds.
Heavenly Father, we ask that you guide JosephAngels and teach him to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ as it says in 2 Corinthians 10:5,
`` casting down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ''

We are confident that you are faithful to complete the good work you have started in his life.

Holy Spirit, we invite you to break the bondage of sin and empower JoeAngels to embrace a lifestyle of purity. We thank you for the spiritual gifts he will receive through this crisis, by the blood through Jesus Christ and with thanksgiving.

We are confident that he can do all things through Christ which strengthens him and he is dead to sin but alive to righteousness as stated in Romans 6:11 and 18.
All this we pray with thanksgiving, amen.

JosephAngels, we encourage you to surround yourself with a fellowship that holds you accountable. May God help you to courageously turn away from this temptation in the future, and may he give you strength to serve him in newness of life as stated in Romans 6:4.

We know this is a tough road, but as you continue to walk with God we are confident from Philippians 1:6 that he who began a good work in you will complete it until day of Christ Jesus.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. We continue to uphold you in prayer, dear brother, as you battle against the temptation of pornography. We are honored that you have allowed us to stand in the gap with you, interceding on your behalf. We pray that the Lord grants you a spirit of discernment and strength to reject any material that does not glorify Him.

If you have found victory and freedom in this area, we would be delighted to hear your praise report, giving all glory to God for His faithfulness. If you are still struggling, please do not hesitate to share with us again. We are here to continue praying and believing with you for complete deliverance.
