We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your family is facing, and we are here to support you in prayer and truth according to the Word of God. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares for you and your family deeply. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
In regards to finances, we recall Matthew 6:25-34, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
We pray that your husband finds healing in his body as well as for you in both body and mind. Even in this struggle, remember that God's "grace is sufficient for you and for me, for his power is made perfect in weakness." as stated in 2 Corinthians 12:9. You are not defined by how much you can give to your family, but rather by the love that you show them. God will help you with what you need to care for them.
Regarding the salvation message, only through belief in Jesus Christ can people be saved and receive the grace of God. A sinner must believe in Christ. Belief is not merely knowing who Christ is but trusting Him for salvation from sin. It is accepting Christ as who He says He is and trusting in Him for salvation. To be saved, a sinner must believe, trust, and accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
As for feeling God more in your life, draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you. James 4:8 says, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners. Purify your hearts, you double-minded." Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. Jesus tells us in John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'".
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up this family to you, Lord, knowing that you care for them deeply. We pray for their financial struggles, that you would guide them to a new home and provide the means for them to live. We pray for healing for the husband and his wife, that you would restore their health and give them the strength to face each day. We ask that you would help the wife to feel your presence in her life and to trust in your love for her and her family. We pray for their children, that you would watch over them and give them peace. We ask that you would be the solid foundation that this family can rely on and find hope to face each day in Jesus' name.
