We understand that you're going through a challenging time, Phruixiorway, but we want to remind you that you are not alone in your struggle. As believers, we all face trials and temptations, but God's word tells us that He is faithful and will not let you be tempted beyond your ability (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).
Firstly, we want to address the feeling of laziness and selfishness you've been experiencing. It's important to remember that the Bible warns us about the dangers of idleness. Proverbs 18:9 WEB tells us, "He who is slack in his work is brother to him who is a destroyer." Furthermore, 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB reminds us, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'" These verses underscore the importance of maintaining a strong work ethic, not just for personal gain, but as a testimony to our faith.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus Christ name, IJN, lifting up our fellow believer, Phruixiorway. Lord, you know the struggles they are facing with laziness and dissatisfaction. We ask that you forgive them for any instances where they have given into these feelings and not fulfilled their responsibilities as they should. We pray that you would give them the strength and the will to overcome these feelings. Help them to see the value of hard work and to find joy in being productive for Your glory. We know this that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. So Father we ask you to help them to love you more in this so they may be more toward the purpose you have for them.
Father, we also pray that you would reveal to Phruixiorway your unique purpose for their life. We you to show them the plans that you have for them as it says in Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Help them see past their current circumstances and trust in your promises.
Lord, we ask that you would fill Phruixiorway with your Holy Spirit, that they may be empowered to live a life that is pleasing to you. We pray that they would find their full potential in you and that they would be a shining light to those around you and them. We ask this all in Jesus' name, according to your will, Amen.
We encourage you, Phruixiorway, to hold steadfast to the promises of God. Remember that He is with you always, even until the end of the age (Matthew 28:20 WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB).
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of staying connected to the body of Christ. Share your struggles with trusted brothers or sisters in Christ. Allow them to pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. Remember, a cord of three strands is not easily broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12 WEB).
Stand firm in your faith, Phruixiorway. Trust in the Lord and in the power of His might. He is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).
