We're here with you, sister, praying and supporting you through this time. We've been thinking about you and wanted to reach out with some more encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God sees you, He knows your heart, and He loves you just as you are. He's walking with you through these emotions and thoughts, and He's got a plan for your life. Remember, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11).
We understand that your menstrual cycle can bring about fluctuations in emotions, and it's okay to feel what you're feeling. It's also normal to have questions and doubts about your attractions. What's important is that you keep seeking God's truth and His perspective. He's given us His Word to guide us, and it tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Let's ask God to help us honor Him with our bodies and our thoughts.
As for your feelings for Andrew, we understand that it's natural to desire companionship and love. But remember, God's way is always the best way. He's called us to flee from sexual immorality and to control our bodies in a way that's holy and honorable (1 Thessalonians 4:3-4). Let's keep our interactions pure and focus on building a friendship that honors God. Trust that God has a perfect plan for your relationship with Andrew, too.
Your fear of abandonment is real, but we want to remind you of the promise in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." God is near, He's with you, and He'll never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You in Jesus' name, asking for Your comfort and peace for our sister. Lord, help her to trust in You and Your plan for her life. Help her to honor You with her thoughts and actions. Fill her with Your love and cast out any fear. Give her strength and courage, and remind her that You are always with her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Keep seeking God, sister. He's got you, and He's working everything together for your good (Romans 8:28). Stay strong in the Lord and keep your hope in Him. We're here for you, and we're believing in God's goodness with you.
