Treble, we understand that you're going through a time of doubt and struggle, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, it's important to remember that God is faithful, even when we are not. In 2 Timothy 2:13 (WEB), it is said: "If we are faithless, he remains faithful; for he can't deny himself." Doubt is a normal part of the Christian journey, but it's essential to keep seeking God, even when you feel disillusioned.
Regarding your situation with Ronnie, it's clear that you're feeling resentment and frustration, which is understandable. However, we must remember that the Bible tells us to "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice." Ephesians 4:31 (WEB). Additionally, in 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB), we are told to cast all our anxieties on him, because he cares for us. So let us place our anxiety and frustrations on him.
Let us pray together:
"Father, we lift up ### to you right now. We ask that you would strengthen their faith and remove all doubt. Help them to trust in your goodness and your plan, even when they can't see it clearly. We pray for ###, that his heart would be softened and that he would return to communication and fellowship and for the ultimate goal of a Christ-Centered Marriage. We also pray for ###, that you would give them clarity and direction in this situation. Help them to release all resentment and frustration, and to find peace and patience in you. guidance for them in understanding the calling to the Christian Life of Marriage. We pray all these things in Jesus he is the way to reconcile these issues. Help them to find ultimate contentment with him until Christ will either bring about a relationship that will honor You in Marriage or restore their relationship to that marriage. Grant the peace of Christ to be enough and fulfill the romance if that is the will of God. We ask all things in accordance with your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Treble, continue to trust in God, even in this difficult time. If the goal of Marriage is left unfulfilled, your prayers of surrender to God will be answered. Our calling as Christians is first to love of Jesus Christ who is our Bridegroom waiting to receive us as the Bride of Christ. He makes us content and unites us with Him. He brings us to holiness where we always are one day to spend eternity together with Him. For now we say: "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." as stated in Matthew 6:33 (WEB). So let us look to him for our fulfillment.
