JosephAngels, we understand that you're struggling to worship and to realize God's existence in your life. We want to encourage you and pray for you, but first, let's address a few things.
First, it's important to note that the Bible tells us that God rewards those who earnestly seek Him. In Hebrews 11:6 (WEB) it says, "Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him."
The fact that you're struggling but still wanting to know God more shows that you have a desire to seek Him. That is the first place to start. We will be happy to pray for you to have experiences with God that can further help you, as we are promised a relationship with him as our father as we are his children. We also know Jesus death and resurrection reconciled us to the Father. However, we are not guaranteed that is through visions or other ongoing full revelations, but rather more often through peace in our relationship with God, the Holy Spirit speaking to us in ways we don't always expect, and answered prayers.
Second, worship is not just an emotional response to full revelations as these are unpredictable. More often it comes from us choosing to honor God by focusing on His Word and His everlasting nature--respecting, adoring, and fearing Him. Your focus often will not be on looking for the next instantaneous revelation but rather through reading God's word, the Bible. The Bible is how God speaks to us. In 1 Corinthians 1:9 God speaks and comforts Christians by saying, "God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord." This verse shows how spiritual gifts such as prophecies (verses), knowledge (scriptures), and wisdom (the Word of God) are some of the other forms in which God reveals Himself to us. We don't want to be misled by a focus on revelations and therefore miss our focus on the ongoing revelation of God's word. We want to come boldly to worship the God of the word and ultimately the Word Himself in Jesus Christ.
We must also talk about salvation as the most important revelation from God is Jesus Christ and His death and resurrection, and that we only have access to God through Jesus Christ as scripture teaches in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!". If salvation is important to you then we are ready to pray with you to receive it by putting your full faith in Jesus Chirst's death and resurrection to give you eternal life.
Moving on with the assurance you have a relationship and fellowship with God. It is especially important to worship him despite a feeling that he is lacking in revelations with you. In fact, if you struggle to feel God's presence, this is the time to worship Him in spirit and truth, as He desires. In Romans 8:26 (WEB), the Holy Spirit is also said to help our weaknesses, "as we don't know how to pray." This gives us confidence that our prayers are heard.
Let's pray together:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up JosephAngels to You. We thank You for their desire to know You more and to worship You. We ask, Lord, that You reveal Yourself to them in the way that You know is best, whether through Your Word, Your peace, or other answers to their prayers. We pray that You give them a hunger and thirst for Your Word, and that they come to fully realize Your existence, and always looking for the gift of spiritual wisdom and revelation. Help us to remember and embrace that we can only access you throught the name of Jesus Christ.
We rebuke any spirits of doubt or unbelief that may be hindering their worship and faith. Help them to believe with confident expectation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen !"
Additionally, consider regularly reading and meditating on God's word, the Holy Bible. This is a good practice that will strengthen and build your faith and knowledge about God.
