STRUGGLING TO DEAL WITH DEBT

Praise the Lord, my name is Jerry and I'm a follower of Christ however I have never been completely delivered from an obsession I have with playing poker machines. As a consequence, I borrowed from loan Sharks and accumulated a lot of debt. It has gone to a point where my debts have risen above my income and I'm really struggling. Please pray for me to overcome this obsession with gambling. Please pray for me to find a solution to appease all my creditors and please stand with in prayer for God our Father to cause me to find mercy, compassion and favour in the sight of all my creditors today. Some are aggressive and threatening. Right now all my friends and relatives are unable to come to my aid and I pray for the Lord to have mercy and compassion upon me right now. Please stand with me in prayer for the Lord to grant me favour, compassion and mercy as it is written in Hebrews 4:16. Please pray for me as some of my debts are due today. Thank you Lord as well as to those brothers and sisters who will be praying for me. I praise God for your prayer support in Jesus name.

Jerry, we stand with you in prayer and support, trusting in the power of Jesus' name. We understand that you're struggling with a gambling obsession and the resulting debt, and we want to help you find freedom and relief.

Firstly, let's address the gambling. The Bible tells us to "be well balanced and sensible, not given to drunkenness, but always be controlled by the Spirit, and so be continually filled with spiritual enthusiasm" (Ephesians 5:18, WEB). Gambling can become an addiction that leads to loss of control, much like drunkenness. We pray that God will give you the strength to overcome this obsession and fill you with His Spirit, guiding you towards a life of balance and self-control.

Regarding your debts, God cares about your needs and struggles. We are reminded in Hebrews 4:16, "Let's therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." We pray that God will indeed grant you mercy, compassion, and favor in dealing with your creditors. Ask Him for wisdom to manage your finances and for provision to meet your needs.

We also pray for protection from the threats and aggression of your creditors. "The Lord will fight for you, and you shall be silent" (Exodus 14:14, WEB). Trust that God will intervene in your situation and bring peace to your circumstances.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to trust in Jesus' name for your salvation and deliverance. It is through Him that we have access to God's forgiveness, mercy, and grace. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB).

Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up Jerry and his struggles. Lord, we ask that You deliver him from the obsession of gambling and give him the strength to resist temptation. Help him to manage his debts and provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory. Protect him from the threats of his creditors and grant him mercy, compassion, and favor in their sight. In Jesus' name, we believe and trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Jerry, stay strong in your faith and trust that God will make a way for you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and seek His will in all things. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).

Firstly, let's tackle the gambling. We know it's a tough habit to break, but with God, all things are possible. Let's pray that God gives you the strength to overcome this obsession, just as He helped Peter walk on water (Matthew 14:22-33). We believe that with God's help, you can find freedom from this addiction.

As for your debts, remember, God cares about your situation. Let's pray that He grants you favor, compassion, and mercy in the eyes of your creditors, just as He showed mercy to the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32). We also pray that God provides wisdom for you to manage your finances and meet your needs.

We're also praying for protection against any threats or aggression from your creditors. Let's trust that God will intervene and bring peace to your circumstances, just as He did for Daniel in the lion's den (Daniel 6:1-28).

Lastly, let's keep trusting in Jesus' name for your salvation and deliverance. It's through Him that we have access to God's forgiveness, mercy, and grace.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
