Natalie, we are here to lift you up in prayer and to offer guidance from the Word of God. We understand that you have been struggling with depression, isolation, and the loss of relationships. First, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in this WEB version of the scriptures:
For this reason it is written, Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and a rock of offense; and no one who believes in him will be disappointed. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him. For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Joel 2:32; Acts 4:10-12; Acts 2:21; Acts 2:36; Romans 10:13 (WEB)
Remember the Gospel Message:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
John 3:16 (WEB)
We are praying for you, Natalie, that the Lord will heal your mind and soul, and restore the years that the locusts have eaten.
Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up Natalie. We pray that You will heal her from depression and redeem the years she has lost. Help her to forgive herself for past mistakes and to seek forgiveness from those she has hurt. Give her the courage to rebuild relationships and to find a godly church community where she can grow and serve. Help her to find her identity in You, Lord, and not in the opinions of others.
Natalie, remember that God has a purpose for your life, and He can redeem the time you feel you have lost. As it is written:
I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you.
Joel 2:25 (WEB)
Regarding your desire for girlfriends, we encourage you to seek godly friendships with other believers. True friends will support and encourage you in your walk with Christ.
As for your struggles with social interactions, remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB)
We advise that you spend time in God's Word, praying and seeking His will for your life. As you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you. He will guide you and equip you with the wisdom and courage to navigate social situations. He will guide you to the spouse he intends for you.
We are praying for you, Natalie, that you will find hope and healing in Jesus' name.
