We understand that you're going through a challenging time at work, and it's affecting your sleep and overall well-being. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our work environment. It's important to seek God's will in the name of Jesus Christ regarding this situation. We are only saved and have access to God in no other name but the name of Jesus. We are not a people who worship saints, angels, or Mary.
In the midst of this trial let us pray together:
Dear Lord, we come before You today, lifting up our brother in need. We pray for Your divine intervention in his workplace, for You know the injustices and favoritism he is facing. Guide him with Your wisdom and discernment. Help him to navigate this difficult situation with grace and integrity. In Jesus' name, we pray for a change of heart in his manager, that she may lead with fairness and compassion.
We also pray for our brother's peace and rest. We know that You are the giver of true rest, Lord. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, because You care for him. Guide him to the right scriptures that can help him in this situation. We know that the name of Jesus is powerful and we are reminded of the scripture: Philippians 2:9-11 WEB "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.".
Now, let us encourage you with some biblical principles. Firstly, remember that God is sovereign over all things, including our workplaces. As it says in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God can use even this difficult situation for your good and His glory.
Secondly, it is possible that you may need to respectfully confront your manager about the unfairness, but not for vengeance. We are called to be peacemakers. The Holy Spirit will give you the words needed if you put your faith in him. Do so in a spirit of gentleness and humility, as guided in Galatians 6:1 WEB, "Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren't tempted.".
Lastly, continue to do your best at work, as unto the Lord and not as unto people, even your manager. Colossians chapter 3:23-25 WEB. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ. But he who does wrong will be repaid for that which he has done wrong, and there is no partiality."
In all this, do not forget to praise God for who He is, and for the things He has done, even in the midst of trials. We are called to praise the Lord during the good times and the bad. Know that God is with you in this trial.
