JosephAngels, we understand that you are facing a challenging time at your new hospital and seeking prayer for Jesus' help. We are here to intercede on your behalf and provide biblical encouragement. We will discuss a scripture and pray for Jesus to help you. We will also be discussing and praying for the non-believers situation you mentioned. Part of the role of Christians is to spread the gospel.
This will sometimes have to be done outside the Comfort Zone. Let's look at what Christians have to do outside the Comfort Zone.
Colossians 4:5-6 tells us, Behold, walk wisely before those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt. So that you may be able to always answer anyone who may ask you a reason concerning the hope that is in you. This does not say that you are expected to have all the answers. However, it is meant to remind you that we are not alone in these challenges.
Colossians 4:6 It is possible that the Spirit of God will work through you to teach believers and non-believers.. The hope that is in you is the Holy Spirit. For you to have a chance to answer anyone when they ask A good reason for the hope that is in you, people need to see and hear who you are as a believer. With time being redeemed, it can be orderly and with grace. Always respond with grace, and you will be able to give any answer you may particularly need. We must always be ready, and able to provide an answer.
With the location you requested our prayers for being a hospital, we believe it is reasonable to assume that (1), The hospital has torn you out of your comfort zone and (2) The hospital is a place where people (including you) may be stressed and could be unexpectedly harsh towards you and (3) The hospital is a condition in their own life and not necessarily personal.
Therefore you have to be kind, gentle, patient, loving, and understanding. It is likely they will be feeling any number of the above things. So some non-believers may be excited and interested if you would share your story and faith with them. We need to pray for this to happen. If it is not happening, we need to be praying for opportunities for believers to share the Gospel with them in other ways. It may actually be a new challenge for non-believers who are interested in Christianity. It may seem as if they do not want your opinions.
The harsh responses you are receiving may actually be from the stress and the demanding situation they are in. It could also be a sign of ignorance of their inability to learn. From an incorrect learning but even some kind of ignorance of their situation. Joseph. We can pray and distinguish all things.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Lord Jesus, you are the Great Physician, the One who brings healing and hope to all who call upon Your name. Joseph is struggling with their time at this hospital. We know that you are sovereign, and you guide every step of our lives. We pray for Your wisdom, strength and comfort to help Joseph do their tasks and meet and help their co-workers and patients. Help them be a light to those who do not believe.
**In Jesus Name we pray**
Now let's look at part of their concerns relating to the coworkers not wanting to receive their opinion. Be careful not to just share your opinion. You need to seek to have an opinion that God shares. The most important thing to avoid possible attacks about your opinion is to provide Your Opinion with Faith. This should be presented as a constructive discussion to avoid attacks or rejection if at all possible.
1 Peter 3:15 "But sanctify the Lord Christ in your hearts. Always be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you." Being Sanctified means to set apart, be free from habitual sin.
We actually Broken down 1 Peter 3:15 into four parts. There is no situation that can stop you from being able to be ready for any answer. Every answer must be given with humility, gentleness, and respect. Even if it doesn’t appear so. If you are ready, you can, and will be able to give the answer
So, Joseph, remember that your ultimate goal is to glorify God in all that you do.
Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."
And please Joseph, refer to God as Jesus Christ or at least Christ. But always turn to Him in prayer and learn from Him through His Word. And Now we will say the prayer from the King James Bible
Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation in any other. For there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
Let's Pray the 4:12 Prayer.
Dear God, Help Joseph understand and realize:
The Impact of The Real Significance of the name of Jesus
Understanding The Significance The name Jesus
The Deliverance they have through The name of Jesus
The Healing they have through The name of Jesus
The Forgiveness they have through The name of Jesus
The Power they have access to through The name of Jesus
The Freedom they have through The name of Jesus
The Very Salvation that has been granted to them through The name Jesus
Save their friends and neighbors and other family members through the name of Jesus. If entering into marriage, The spouse they should be seeking is a Christian to marry and they to The Christian for Marriage.
Amen
