We are glad to join you in prayer for strong protection and guidance. We know that our help comes from the Lord. Psalm 121:2 says, My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask for Your divine protection and guidance for the one who has submitted this request.
Father God, Psalm 91 reminds us that whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We claim this promise and ask that You cover this person with Your feathers, and under Your wings, they will find refuge. Make Your truth their shield and buckler. We ask You to cover them and their family with the blood of Jesus.
As they come to You, Lord, we ask You to guide them. Guide them in Your truth and teach them, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long. Guide them by Your word, which is a lamp to their feet, and a light to their path.
We pray that You strengthen them in the inner man by Your Spirit. We put our trust in You and we know that You are able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, unto You be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
While we praise God for His protection and guidance, it is important to understand the basis for our prayers. We would love to hear how you stand with Jesus Christ in your life. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. The Bible is very clear that it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God. Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved.
Finally, please understand that when we ask for God's protection and guidance, we are asking for His will to be done in our lives. Sometimes God's will may involve going through trials and tribulations. It is in these times that we need to remember to trust in Him. God will not leave nor forsake us. He will give us the strength to endure. We can take comfort in knowing that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
