We understand that you are seeking strong prayer regarding a police case. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is a loving and just God. He is always ready to listen to our prayers and to help us in our time of need. However, we need to ensure that our prayers are aligned with His will and that we are living in accordance with His word. The Bible tells us to be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.
Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment. Romans 13:1-2
We also need to acknowledge that if you seek prayers to stop a police case it impies some action outside of the law and therefore God's will. If you have done wrong, the best approach is to repent and seek mercy from both God and the authorities.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7]
If someone does evil, he will be paid back for it; and there is no partiality.
Colossians 3:25
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, humbly seeking your will for Achewood. If Achewood has done wrong, please grant him/her the spirit of repentance and courage to face the consequences while seeking your mercy and forgiveness than trying to avoid responsibility. If Achewood has been falsley accused, please be in the case. Guide the authorities with wisdom and discernment. We ask that you bring truth to light, and that your will be done in this situation. We pray for Achewood's faith; that it will be resolute. In Jesus name you are faithful and just to forgive.
Achewood, we also want to take to remind you of the most important first step, believing in Jesus Christ and repenting of your sins for forgiveness and to a future kingdom with God.
If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10
