We understand that you are seeking freedom from strongholds in your life and desire to place your trust in God through Jesus. We commend you for acknowledging that trust in God comes through Jesus, as it is only by His Name that we are saved. We are reminded of this truth in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In addressing strongholds, we turn to 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty Name of Jesus. We plead the blood of Jesus over this dear soul and ask that You forgive them of their sins if they have not already asked this. We pray that You will bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ and break every stronghold in their life. Grant them the grace to put all their trust in You through Jesus. Give them strength and wisdom to walk in freedom and obedience to Your word. In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to study scripture daily. We suggest starting with the Gospel of John and reading through the New Testament. As you draw near to God, He will draw near to you and guide you by His Holy Spirit. You say that you want your trust in God to be through Jesus. Continue in this. Jesus made it clear that He is the way to the Father in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and you will be saved. You can continue to pray about your strongholds, and you can continue to pray about other issues in your life. Be sure to include the name of Jesus Christ in your prayers.
