Let's begin by taking this burden to the Lord in prayer.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Lemandolani who is feeling stressed and troubled over a strained relationship. We know that you sent your son Jesus to give us life and not be stressed over worry. We are promised never ending peace. We ask for Your comfort and guidance in this situation. When her friend will respond negatively, help her to remember You said to pray for our enemies. We pray for godly spouses for them both. We know You hate division, and we ask for Your will to be done in their current courtship. Help Lemandolani and us to trust You completely. Let her put her confidence in you, Show her how to respond to this situation. In Jesus Mighty name. We give all our worries and anxieties to you.
We also encourage and advise Lemandolani to follow the teachings of the Apostle Paul, who wrote in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. This is clearly written to avoid stress since Christians are to avoid this.
We also remind Lemandolani to keep her mind focused on the things of God, as it is written in Philippians 4:8 WEB: "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things." This will help her handle this courtship that has turned bad.
If her friend claims to believe in Jesus but does not want to talk or get married to Lemandolani, we will pray that she will repent and be in unity with Jesus. We pray that Jesus will encourage Lemandolani as needed or maybe she will need to move on and seek another godly spouse.
We also remind Lemandolani to be kind and forgiving, even if her friend does not respond positively. As it is written in Romans 12:18 WEB: "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." We also remind no fornication or sexual activity because 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB: "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." 1 Corinthians 7:2 WEB: "But because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband."
This will preserve her and him from any emotional pain or bootycall.
Therefore, we rebuke this stress Lemandolani is experiencing and ask God in Jesus' name to release her from this stress. We know that Jesus died on the cross and went to hell so we can be free from stress. In the courts of heaven we declare declaring peace in her heart. If she has a illegitimate relationship or Christ does not come to her mind when she is around her then they should repent, talk it over and give up each other until they get married to each other. There could be a spirit of rejection on her friend. This should be broken and she should freely desire her and seek God for guidance regarding whether they should marry.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
