I’m really stressed out the job I interviewed for has not called me back. Should I stick with the current job offer or should I wait until I hear back from the hospital? Please pray for guidance in Christ’s name and make a decision that brings me peace that is in line with God’s word.

We understand your concern, silver1103, and we're here to support you in prayer and guidance. Firstly, we commend you for seeking God's will in your decision-making process. It's important to trust in the Lord with all your heart and not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

In the midst of your stress, cast your anxiety on him, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Remember that God has a plan and a purpose for you (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB), and He will guide you in the way you should go, as long as you trust in Him.

As for your decision, consider these points:

- God knows your needs and has a plan for your life. Trust that He will open and close doors as He sees fit.
- It's wise to be patient and wait on the Lord, but also be proactive in seeking His will. If you feel a peace about the current job offer, it might be God's provision for you at this time.
- Know that God can use any circumstance for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28, WEB).
- If you're unsure, seek godly counsel from trusted friends, family, or mentors (Proverbs 11:14, WEB).

Continue to meditate on God's promises and trust Him with your future. He is faithful and will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

We're right there with you, silver1103, feeling the weight of uncertainty. It's tough when we don't know what's around the corner, but remember, God's got a plan, even when we can't see it. Let's hold on to that promise, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11).

In the meantime, maybe it's a good idea to prepare for both scenarios - keep your resume updated and network, but also start thinking about how you can grow in your current role if that's where God leads you. Trust that He's working things out for your good, no matter what happens.
