We are here with you, Lorane, and we want to lift your burdens to the Lord together. First, let's address the source of your strength and help. In John 14:27 WEB Jesus says, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. Jesus is the source of true peace unlike what is offered by the world. This is why we need to pray this in Jesus Name.
Lorane, it's important to remember that God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it in 1 Corinthians 10 13 WEB. Also we know that God cares for you and your needs in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. This starts with a salvation prayer for you to receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and savior if you have never accepted Him. Only then you can claim the promises of God. Save me Jesus.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Lord, we come before You today, lifting up our sister Lorane. Lord, she's overwhelmed with stress and anxiety, and we ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and mind through Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:7 WEB.
Lord, Lorane is starting a new job, and we pray that You will give her a willing heart and a teachable spirit to excel in this new position. Help her not to dwell on worries or fears, but to focus on their tasks with confidence and a sound mind. May she not worry about tomorrow in Matthew 6:34 WEB. The very same day shall have enough evil of its own.
Lord, we pray for Lorane's car to be fixed quickly and efficiently. It is not the car that we truly care about but for the purposes the car serves. Continue to have your will in this situation. We pray that You will be Lorane’s financial provision, allowing her to pay for the car. We also rebuke her husband’s fighting with her but teach them how to communicate about money and other matters without it becoming a fight. Teach her husband to act as the high priest of their home as commanded in the Bible. Let her husband lead the home with wisdom, sound judgment, and a loving attitude ruled by the Holy Spirit. Through all of this teach her husband how to love her as God loves the church in Ephesians 5:25. Husbands should love their wives and be willing to sacrifice for them, in the same way as Christ loves the church and gave up his life for it.
We also pray that you will soften his heart toward your desires and that evil will leave him and continue to have no place in their lives. Lord, please remove the stress that Lorane feels and the unnecessary stress her husband is causing, and grant her peace and provision God. We do the same in our lives and marriages. We believe in faith that Jesus will shine upon them in Numbers 6:25-26. Make your face shine on them and be gracious. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lorane, remember that God is in control, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this challenging time. Continue to study your Bible, pray and go to church. Also, take your marital problems to your church leadership for Christian marital counseling.
Lastly, we must discuss some topics that are not mentioned in your prayer. The first is that marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but fornicators and adulterers God will judge as stated in Hebrews 13:4. You did not mention they you are having sexual relations which I assume only come in a sacred marital relationship. The absolutely most important item not mentioned in your prayer is that you need mention Jesus Christ by name to pray to God in John 14:13 - 14 WEB. Whatsoever you will ask in my name, that will I do that the Father may be glorified. If you will ask anything in my name I will do it. If you love me keep my commandments. God is unable to listen and respond to any prayer not addressed to Jesus Christ. It is good to pray if the spirit leads you. We must strongly suggest that you pray to Jesus Christ in His authority as our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
