Miranda, we understand that you're feeling overwhelmed by stress and depression, and we're here to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God and be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In times of distress, remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we won't fear, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas (Psalm 46:1-2 WEB).
We pray for your sleep, that it may be sweet and peaceful, as it is written in Proverbs 3:24 WEB: "When you lie down, you shall not be afraid. Yes, you shall lie down, and your sleep shall be sweet."
We pray that God will shelter and watch over you, as it is written in Psalm 91:1-4 WEB: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."
We pray for your stress and depression to be lifted, and for God to give you peace, as it is written in John 14:27 WEB: "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."
We pray that God will remove those who trigger anger and depression or anxiety from your life, and that you may be filled with the fruits of the Spirit, as it is written in Galatians 5:22-23 WEB: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
Remember, Miranda, that God promises to be with us in times of trouble, and that He will never leave us nor forsake us. As it is written in Hebrews 13:5 WEB: "...for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
In Jesus' name, we pray for your relief and recovery, and for God's will to be done in your life. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB), and to trust in Him with all your heart, leaning not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5 WEB).
