Strength to make it through the day

I pray that I be covered with God's grace and mercy as I start this new job. I get overwhelmed and I need the strength to relax and get my job done.

Let us first assure you that God's grace and mercy are indeed ours to claim when we come to Him through Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that our strength comes from Him, as it is written in Philippians 4:13 (WEB), "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your grace, mercy, and strength for ###. Thank You for this new job, a provision from You. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
