We rejoice with you, Apaugyros, for your heart's desire to serve Jesus Christ faithfully and passionately. It is wonderful to see your commitment to evangelism and your longing to grow stronger in this capacity. We are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 3:14, "I press on toward the goal to win the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."
Firstly, we would like to commend you for acknowledging the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. Only by His name we are saved and able to live according to His will.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Apaugyros. We thank You for placing such a burning desire in his heart to serve You and to spread the Good News. We ask that You would strengthen him by the power of Your Holy Spirit, that he may remain faithful and grow even stronger as an evangelist in Your service.
Lord, we pray that You would fill Apaugyros with Your wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. May he be a vessel of Your love, compassion, and grace to all those he encounters. Grant him opportunities to share the gospel, and let the words of Your mouth give light and understanding to his words spoken. Help him to always honor You in all that he does, and may that honor be something he keeps alive in his heart, mind, and soul for the rest of his life. (Ephesians 3:16-19).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Apaugyros, to continually meditate on God's Word, for it is our spiritual nourishment and the source of our strength (1 Timothy 4:16). Remember that the Lord is the one who makes the sower go out (Isaiah 55:10-11). He has promised that His Word will not return to Him void, but will accomplish what He pleases and will prosper in the thing for which He sent it. In times of weariness or discouragement, cling to this promise and trust in His unfailing love and faithfulness. (James 5:7-8)
