Thank you, Anonymous, for reaching out and sharing your struggles with us. We are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, let's address fasting and prayer while dealing with illnesses. Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline, but it's important to remember that God considers mercy and obedience more important, especially when health is an issue. We remember what is said about fasting in Zechariah 7:5-6 (WEB): "Speak to all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, 'When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and in the seventh month for these seventy years, did you at all fast to me, really to me? When you eat, and when you drink, don't you eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?'" Also, God desires our health and that we may prosper, as mentioned in 3 John 1:2. In a situation where health may be a concern, we can focus on praying and obeying Him while maintaining our health. As for the persecutions, Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:44 (WEB): "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you."
Regarding your neighbors, we must remember that Jesus commands us to love our neighbors and pray for them, even if they are causing us trouble. Luke 6:27-28 (WEB) tells us: "But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you." Vengeance is not ours to take, but God's. As it is said in Romans 12:19, WEB, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
We also noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is said in John 14:6 (WEB): "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12 (WEB): "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, in Jesus Christ we are now a child of God. We come before You, lifting up Anonymous, asking for Your healing touch upon their body. Lord, give them the strength to pray and fast but also guide them in the fasting in a safe way. Father, we pray for their blood glucose levels to be stable and normal. We also bring their neighbors before You. Lord, we ask that You work in their hearts, convict them of their actions, and draw them to Yourself. Help Anonymous to love and pray for them, just as You call us all to do. We pray for reconciliation and peace in this situation, in Jesus' name we pray.
Lastly, we encourage you to examine your heart towards these neighbors. Ensure that there is no bitterness or unforgiveness, as these can hinder your prayers and relationship with God. Remember, God is faithful, and He promises to fight for us. Trust in Him and His timing.
