Strength, Patience, Perseverance

Jesus, please give me the strength that I need to persevere and have the unearthly patience with the way my supervisor is treatis me. She promised me the she would do her best to give me a promotion but in return she treats me like I owe her the world. She belittles and makes me second guess myself to a point where I think I am no longer capable of doing my job right. Lord, please help me overcome this hurdle in my life. Please pray that God would do miracles and help me out of this situation.

I have applied for another position, I hope I would hear from them soon and hopefully do well enough to be the best candidate for the position.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
