We understand that you're feeling drained and struggling to focus on your dissertation. We're here to support you and pray with you in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that this work is not just for academic achievement, but for God's glory. It's crucial to remember that whatever we do, we should do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men Colossians 3:23 WEB.
In times of weariness, God promises that He will be our strength. As it is written in Isaiah 40:29 WEB, He gives power to the faint; and to him who has no might he increases strength. We pray that God will renew your energy and help you overcome procrastination.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up lost_soul who is feeling drained and in need of Your divine strength. Lord, pour out Your wisdom and encouragement upon them, so they can stay focused, hopeful, and hardworking. Remind them that this work is a part of their discipleship and for Your glory.
Guide them in strategically applying what they've learned into their writing. Help them to manage their time wisely, so they can complete their work with big improvements and still have time to rest and sleep.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who gives us access to Your throne of grace. It's in His name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to take short breaks to refresh your mind and spirit. Remember, even Jesus took time aside to rest and pray Luke 5:16 WEB. Also, consider the words of Matthew 11:28-30 WEB: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will see you through this challenging time.
