We are truly sorry to hear that you and your family are going through a challenging phase in health and faith. Remember, it is through struggles that we often see God's power and grace at work in our lives.
Firstly, the Bible tells us to come boldly before the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need. Jesus Christ is our gateway to this access and it is only by His name that we have access to God.
Stand firm, be courageous. Let us pray together.
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before to You today in Jesus' name we pray, seeking Your divine intervention for our dear friend and their family. You are the God of all comfort and healing, and we trust in Your goodness even in the midst of trials.
Father, we pray for Your healing touch upon their health. Strengthen their bodies, minds, and spirits. Give them the power to endure this trial with unwavering faith. We know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. In Jesus' name we pray.
Lord, we also lift up their faith. In times of doubt and fear, let Your presence be their comfort and guide. Remind them of Your promises, and help them to trust in Your unfailing love. We pray that their faith will only grow stronger through this trial. We know that You are faithful and You will finish the good work that You started in them.
Father, surround their family with Your peace and love. Give them the strength to support each other and to stand together in faith. Let us remember the encouraging words in Romans 8:28 WEB, 'We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.'
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen."
Be comforted by the words of Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 WEB, 'He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.'
Lastly, we gently remind you that the power and effectiveness of our prayers comes from our position in Jesus Christ. Romans 8:26 WEB 'In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered.'
